Our commitment to supporting our students toward sustainable employment

Recently, the newspaper Le Progrès featured an article on the first Emalec Academy cohort, highlighting Emalec’s commitment to training and professional integration.

In its article, Le Progrès highlights Emalec Academy’s approach: “Created in 1999, the Emalec group specialized in multitechnical building maintenance. In 2024, by creating its Emalec Academy school, the company embarked on training people far from employment by combining theoretical teaching, practical work, and professional immersion.”

Since its creation, Emalec Academy has aimed to welcome several cohorts per year: “The first cohort is a success,” says Ludivine Buffard, Human Resources Director and project leader. “Emalec’s objective is now to welcome between two and three cohorts each year, so that a growing number of candidates can be trained in the key skills needed to meet market demands.”

The article also highlights Emalec Academy’s inclusive approach: “This development is part of an inclusion and talent development initiative, while meeting the expectations of its employees.” Aimed at job seekers, young people, and first-time job seekers in initial qualification, the training offered by Emalec Academy prepares for careers as commercial building electrical technician, fire extinguisher inspection agent, or assistant project manager.

Finally, Le Progrès emphasizes the professional opportunities offered to trainees: “Organized with the support of France Travail, these training programs will enable selected candidates to validate a state diploma and sign an apprenticeship contract, a fixed-term contract, or a permanent contract with a company.”

This recognition by the local press demonstrates the positive impact of our Academy on the region and our commitment to supporting our students toward sustainable employment.
