The Company Safety Improvement Manual (MASE) is a reference system that evaluates the health, safety and environmental management system.
This reference system is a framework to structure and improve a company’s Health, Safety and Environment approach by exploring 5 areas.
Axis 1: Commitment of the company’s management.
Objective: Define the organization of the company’s HSE management.
Axis 2: Professional skills and qualifications.
Objective: To provide all employees with the “knowledge”, “know-how” and “interpersonal skills” necessary to run their workstations.
Axis 4: Work organization.
Objectifve: Control HSE risks when performing tasks, works or services.
Axis 4: Effectiveness of the management system.
Objective: Evaluate the effectiveness of the management system.
Axis 5: Continuous improvement.
Objective: Continuous improvement of the management system.
EMALEC had been GEHSE certified since 2017, and in 2018 began a process of transition to the higher standard which is the MASE
Emalec’s MASE audit took place at the end of June 2019. As a result, the MASE steering committee validated Emalec’s methods and results with regard to the reference framework.
The steering committee certified Emalec for the longest possible duration of the certificate, i.e. 3 years. The next audit will take place in 2022
